Are you excited about your upcoming photo shoot but unsure what to do before the session? Here is a list to help you....
-Work with your photographer on the location.
-Have a list of your ideas and ask questions (preferably before the day of the shoot); that way, you can be more relaxed on the day of the shoot.
-Work on your mindset ... all will work out in the end.
-Bring clothes that are cute and comfortable.
-If it is sensual photography or boudoir, make sure you are well groomed and bring items you feel comfortable with; we want you to feel sexy.
-Keep the makeup and hairdo classic unless you do an artistic shoot.
-Pamper yourself. The day before the shoot, do things that help you relax.
-Bring a friend - sometimes, seeing a friendly face can help take the edge off.
-Breathe....taking relaxed, easy-going breaths helps stabilize the nervous system.
What NOT TO DO before a photo session....
-Don't try a new hairstyle.
-Don't experiment with new skin products.
-Don't spend too much time on the sun.
-Keep your diet and exercise routine light.
-Don't stay up all night.
-Don't try to change venues last minute.
-Don't overwork yourself about the session.
